Heads-up: Key plot points for the third episode of the new season follow below.
The Soldiers Table Revealed
The latest chapter finished on a huge suspense moment and introduced the premier party of adventurers who will branch out from the central cast to undertake their separate journey, distinct from the additional parties.
This warrior group features Teor (portrayed by Travis), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), Tyranny (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).
The Reason for Division
Considering an extensive roster, it was obvious from the outset that keeping everyone at the same party would be unworkable.
That’s why, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Prelude, intertwining the individual narratives before branching into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Planners, and Questers.
What Defines the Warrior Group
According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for players who enjoy a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where non-violent answers are scarce.
At first glance, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander might appear mismatched, but the developments of episode 3 show why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the warrior group.
Reasons to Leave
To begin with, the group has a clear idea where to head next after a violent first encounter with The Crow Keepers.
A former ally of Thjazi—whose demise started the campaign’s events—used the foes for his selfish purposes, breaking into the hidden lair, attacking Thimble, and swiping all the powerful objects to dispose of.
Casimir then cleared his debts and ran away to a fortified location in the remote area, north of the urban center, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.
Individual Reasons
Secondly, each character has a specific drive to exit the metropolitan area:
- The rogue, as the close ally and best friend, wants revenge.
- The knowledgeable figure is familiar with Timmony and advises that it is a dangerous place.
- The warrior and Wicander, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to kill Teor and instead freed him, have no other options.
- However, their reputation as important members in the powerful family could help the group access areas they normally couldn’t.
- Additionally, The fighter vowed a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his salvation and will now go with him everywhere.
Pursued by Authorities
In addition, all of them are hunted by the authorities that control the city for a multiple motives, making staying in the city no longer safe:
- The agile adventurer and The character are known criminals.
- The strong figure and The healer defied the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
- Teor is targeted for elimination by the family.
This means them little choice but to head to the northern region in search of Casimir.
